Grinder Pump 101
Approximately fifty percent of our customers have a grinder pump on their property as part of their sewer system. If you have a pump and don’t know much about it, here is a little information and some tips on how to help it run smoothly.
Grinder pump: a cylinder basin buried underground that collects wastewater (sewage) then pushes
it through an underground pipe to a main sewer line and through the primary sewer system to a wastewater treatment plant.
